When I was child, my friends parents had a garden on their row home roof top. Although her dad went to jail for the garden, He had a really great concept that just didn't pan out for the family. I DIDN'T REALIZE HOW UN-LEVEL IT IS. WE NEED A TRACTOR. 23 enero HEATH LEDGER I AM VERY SAD ABOUT THE DEATH OF HEATH LEDGER. I WILL MISS SEEING HIM AND SEEING THE THINGS HE MAY HAVE DONE. I DIDN'T REALIZE HOW YOUNG HE WAS. I FOUND A VIDEO OF SOME SHOTS 20 enero SLOW LAPTOPMY COMPUTER WAS SO SLOW THE OTHER DAY, I WAS ABOUT TO THROW IT OUT THE WINDOW....AND I CAN YOU KNOW. I WOULD THEN BE ONE P'D OFF SOUTHERN GIRL THOUGH.
SO, I OPTED TO LOOK INTO IT AND ADDED A COUPLE OF NEW VIDEOS AT THE SAME TIME.

HAVE A GREAT SUNDAY! 14 enero OK so I saw a new MovieI saw the newly released movie called 'SEPTEMBER DAWN'.
How come I was never taught this in school? The horrible deaths that occurred in Utah on Sept 11th 1857 were news to me. It was about a group of settlers from Arkansas and Missouri that were travelling through Utah. They happened upon the area near Cedar City. This place still had some hostile Indians around but they mainly had Mormons that had settled there. This was the last leg of their journey so they decided to stop in this beautiful place called Mountain Meadows for a few days to recuperate from their long travels before hand. They needed to let their livestock graze and buy some much needed supplies before they proceeded on to California.
The movie stars Jon Voight as Jacob, a bishop/mayor/judge, for the Mormon community that was already settled in this area. The rest I don't want to give away but I'm sure if you look up Mountain Meadows 1857 you'll get the gist of what this movie entails.
It was very well done and filmed on location, so you see the beautiful scenery also. It was also an education for me. I do recommend it. It is a Drama so no happy endings here. Be sure to watch the extras on the DVD to get some more details about the facts known.

First I'm watching the Mummers Parade on TV and now it's the tenth. I put up a new video about Philadelphia for those who don't know the history of the City that was our Nations Capitol until 1800. That wasn't too long ago if you consider how fast this year has gone by so far. Like they say,"The only thing that changes is the clothes". Ten days into the year and its already fashionable to vote for a female, buy an electric car, have a huge 52"TV, and only god knows about blue tooth and blue ray; if you get those last two confused you'll have a DVD in your ear. I hope every ones year isn't going as fast as mine is. Please savor every moment and smell the roses or plant a rose bush for smelling later on.
And talk about History, In this upcoming election we may now have the choice to vote for a Woman or an African-American and a POW or a Movie Star-(again). One of these terms maybe out of sorts because I see us all as Americans and Arnold IS an Austrian-American right? Hillary is a Woman American and so forth..
